How to Use the NPC Loot Encyclopedia
What's Covered in This Database
The encyclopedia covers every enemy NPC in the game's zones, their confirmed drop tables, and their stats. Goblin Thief (Zone 1): 38 HP, 12 damage, drops low-tier materials and occasionally Leather. Goblin Ogre (Zone 2): 124 HP, 16 damage with 12 defense, drops Thorium and Cobalt-tier materials. Ghoul (Zone 2): 193 HP, 48 damage, Fast tag, drops rare Zone 2 components. Use the encyclopedia to find which enemy drops the specific item you need without farming trial-and-error.
Drop Rates and Expected Farming Time
Each entry shows the drop rate as a percentage alongside the item. A 5% drop rate means you'll get the item roughly once every 20 kills on average. At 30 seconds per kill for a Goblin Ogre, that's 10 minutes of farming per drop. The encyclopedia shows expected time-per-item so you can decide whether farming the drop or buying it from NPCs is more time-efficient for your current gear level.
Weakness-Based Target Selection
Each NPC entry shows elemental weaknesses. Goblin Thief is weak to Fire — a fire-enchanted weapon deals bonus damage, reducing time-to-kill. The weakness multiplier (typically 1.5×) combined with your base DPS affects how quickly you clear each enemy type. Filtering by your equipped damage type in the search bar shows all enemies weak to your current weapon for efficient zone routing.
Finding the Right Enemy to Farm
If you need a specific material — Heavy Leather, Cindercloth, rare ore — search by item name. The encyclopedia shows every enemy that drops it, their zone, drop rate, and HP, so you can pick the easiest target that has the drop you need.
If you're heading into a specific zone, filter by zone to see every enemy available there. This helps plan which enemies to prioritize for both loot and XP, and which to avoid given your current gear tier.
Each entry shows the enemy's HP total. Combined with your weapon's DPS from the DPS Calculator, you can estimate time-to-kill and decide whether the loot yield is worth the encounter difficulty before committing to a farming route.
Plan your weapon loadout around the target enemy's weakness. If you'll be farming Goblin Thieves (Fire-weak), equipping a fire-type weapon before the zone run increases kill efficiency throughout the session.
Common Questions
Check the encyclopedia's Zone 2 filter for Heavy Leather drops. Enemies with higher HP like Goblin Ogres (124 HP) tend to drop better materials but take longer to kill. Enemies with lower HP in Zone 2 may have lower drop rates but faster per-kill speed. Use the expected-time-per-drop column to compare.
Drop rates listed are for standard difficulty. Some enemies have conditional rare drops that only appear under specific circumstances (night time, specific zone sub-area). These conditional drops are marked with a special icon in the entry.
Yes — use the level range filter. Enemies are categorized by level alongside zone. A Ghoul at level 25 in Zone 2 is flagged as significantly harder than a level 10 Goblin in Zone 1. Filtering by your character's level range shows appropriately scaled targets without manually checking each zone.
