Memory System Planner
Recipe knowledge in Hytale uses memory slots — a finite resource that grows in tiers. This planner helps you decide which recipes are worth learning first, tracks your slot usage against your current capacity, and generates a prioritized learning queue for your playstyle.
1 Your Current Memory Capacity

How to Use the Memory System Planner
Pick your memory tier
New characters start with a small memory pool. Visit the Memory Bench in the Forgotten Temple to expand your capacity. The tiers are fixed at 10, 25, 50, 100, and 200 slots.
Choose your playstyle
The planner adjusts recipe priorities based on whether you focus on combat, magic, farming, or crafting. Priority recipes get a star marker so you know which ones to grab first.
Select the recipes you want
Browse and check each recipe you plan to learn. The slot meter fills in real time, showing whether you will hit your cap before finishing your list.
Review your queue
The planner sorts your selection by priority and flags over-budget scenarios. If you have picked more recipes than your current tier allows, it tells you exactly which tier to target next.
