Battle Simulator

Test team comps without wasting gems on units that turn out to be garbage. Simulate battles, see if you can actually clear before you commit.

What this simulates:

  • Wave progression (will you actually reach Wave 30 or die at 18 like last time?)
  • Resource spending (placement costs, upgrades mid-run)
  • Team survivability (DPS means nothing if everyone dies before the boss)
  • Strategy testing (can you beat Nightmare with this team or nah?)

Use case: Wanted to test a 3-unit speedrun comp for Challenge Mode. Simulator showed it dies at Wave 22. Saved me from wasting 3000 gems upgrading units that wouldn't work. Now I know I need at least 4 units for survival.

How the Simulator Works

🎯

Accurate Calculations

Our simulator uses real game data to calculate DPS, taking into account unit stats, levels, abilities, and synergies.

🧪

Safe Testing

Test different team compositions and strategies without spending in-game resources or risking failed runs.

Understanding Game Mechanics

🌊

Wave System

Battles are organized into waves of increasingly difficult enemies. Each map has a set number of waves or infinite waves.

  • Enemies spawn at the beginning of each wave
  • Wave difficulty increases with enemy HP, speed, and count
  • Players earn gold for each wave completed
💥

Damage Calculation

DPS (Damage Per Second) is calculated using multiple factors that affect your unit's effectiveness.

Formula:Base DPS × Level Multiplier × Trait Bonuses × Relic Buffs × Team Synergies
  • Base DPS: Each unit has a base damage value
  • Level Scaling: Units gain DPS with each upgrade level
  • Trait Bonuses: Traits like Ruler and Sacred increase damage
  • Relic Buffs: Equipment provides percentage damage boosts
  • Team Synergies: Support units can buff other units (e.g., Virtual Idol +28%)
👥

Team Composition

Building a balanced team with different unit types is crucial for success.

DPS Units

High damage output units that eliminate enemies quickly

Support Units

Increase damage or effectiveness of other units

Farm/Economy Units

Generate additional gold during battles

Tank Units

High durability units that can slow or redirect enemies

What I Learned From Running 200+ Simulations

Support Units Aren't Optional

  • Miku's 28% damage buff is massive. I tested her vs no-support runs - average DPS jumped from 12k to 15k+. That's the difference between clearing Wave 30 and dying at Wave 25.
  • Economy units stop mattering after Wave 20. You'll have more gold than you can spend. Early game only.
  • Range variety matters more than I thought. Three close-range DPS units will get shredded by flying enemies. Mix it up.
  • Level 5 on your main DPS is bare minimum for Nightmare. I tried with Level 3 carries. Died repeatedly. Don't be cheap with upgrades.
  • Ruler trait adds 30% damage + crit. That's not "nice to have" - it's the difference between A-tier and S-tier units.

Mode-Specific Reality Checks

  • Story Mode: 2 DPS + Miku + Speedcart. Works 95% of the time. If you're struggling, your units aren't evolved enough.
  • Infinite Mode: You need 3+ DPS plus Miku. Tested with 2 DPS - couldn't get past Wave 45 no matter what I tried. More damage always wins here.
  • Raids: Boss mechanics will wreck generic teams. Example: Dragon Raid boss one-shots close-range units. Bring ranged DPS or you're wasting stamina.
  • Recommended power is usually accurate. If you're 500 power below recommended, your clear rate drops to maybe 20%. Save yourself the frustration.

Mistakes I Made So You Don't Have To

  • Don't spread trait rerolls thin. Get Ruler on ONE unit first, then work on the rest. Half-upgraded teams lose to fully-upgraded carries.
  • Relic percentages stack multiplicatively. 10% damage relic + 15% damage relic = 26.5% total buff, not 25%. Math matters.
  • Unit placement broke three of my Raid attempts before I realized: some units need corner positions to maximize range coverage. Check the map preview.
  • Synergies aren't obvious until you test them. Sun Jin Woo + Miku is S-tier. Kyto + Ragna together? Actually worse than just one of them. Overkill on burst, not enough sustained DPS.
  • This simulator shows you what works BEFORE you waste stamina. Saved me probably 50+ failed runs by testing first.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is my simulation failing when I meet the recommended power?

Recommended power is a guideline. Team composition, traits, and synergies matter more than raw DPS numbers. Ensure you have support units and appropriate unit types for the map.

Does the simulator account for unit positioning?

The simulator focuses on DPS calculations and team composition. Actual in-game positioning can affect results slightly, but DPS is the primary factor.

How accurate is the wave prediction?

The simulator uses verified formulas and game data to provide accurate predictions. Results should be within 1-2 waves of actual performance, depending on player execution.

Can I simulate with units I don't own?

Yes! The simulator lets you test any unit at any level. This helps you plan which units to invest in before spending resources.

What's the difference between Infinite Mode simulation and actual gameplay?

Infinite Mode simulations are capped at 50 waves for calculation purposes. Actual Infinite Mode continues indefinitely with exponential scaling.

Why should I use the simulator instead of just trying in-game?

The simulator saves time and resources. You can test dozens of team combinations in minutes without spending in-game currency or waiting for attempts to complete.
