Understanding the Karma System
Redemption (≥ 150)
The True Ending. Requires consistently good choices throughout the entire game. You must complete all 7 key moral decisions correctly and maintain high karma.
Partnership (80-149)
The Good Ending. More forgiving than Redemption. You can make some mistakes but must still make mostly positive choices. At least 5 out of 7 key choices should be good.
Car (0-79)
The Neutral Ending. Results from a mix of good and bad decisions. Neither the best nor worst outcome, reflecting a morally grey playthrough.
Exposing (< 0)
The Bad Ending. Achieved by making consistently cruel and selfish choices. This is the darkest timeline with the worst consequences for A.I.L.A.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I change my ending mid-playthrough?
Yes! As long as you haven't reached the final chapter, you can still influence your ending by making different choices. The karma system is cumulative, so even late-game decisions can push you toward a different ending threshold.
Do I need to start a new game to get the True Ending?
If you've already passed key decision points and made "bad" choices, you'll need to start a new playthrough or reload an earlier save. The True Ending requires specific choices that can't be reversed once made.
How accurate is the ending prediction?
Our predictor is highly accurate when you input the correct karma value and mark your key choices honestly. The game's ending is determined by these exact parameters, so our calculations match the game's internal logic.
What if I don't know my exact karma score?
You can use our Karma Calculator to estimate your score based on the choices you remember making. Alternatively, check the pause menu in-game where your karma is displayed (depending on game version).
Are all 7 key choices required for the True Ending?
Yes. To unlock the Redemption ending, you must make all 7 key choices correctly AND have karma ≥ 150. Missing even one key choice will prevent you from achieving the True Ending, even with maximum karma.
Can I get multiple endings in one playthrough?
No. Each playthrough leads to exactly one ending based on your cumulative karma and choices. To experience all endings, you'll need multiple playthroughs or save file management.
